Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear-hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. - Jude 1:22-23 NIV

I hope this passage from Jude 1:22-23 touches your heart in many ways. Maybe you can relate to what it was like to be trapped in the emotional turmoil of your sin and having someone reach out to you with God’s hand of mercy. They looked past the nastiness of your sin to see your hurting soul inside. They met you where you were at, loved you enough to touch your heart, and walked with you to Jesus. Maybe the Lord has put it on your heart to be the one who reaches into the fire and brings others to safety. No matter what side of Christ’s outreached hand you are on, you are part of the vision of Reconciliation Ministries.

Thank you for touching my own heart as well. The Lord began to speak these verses to me way back in 1999 as He was calling me into a deeper level of personal transformation, and into full time ministry to the sexually and relationally broken. Thank you for partnering with Reconciliation Ministries through your prayers and financial support to live these verses. Your love and support touched my heart deeply and helped me receive much needed healing. You’ve truly reached into the fire in Metro Detroit, parts of the US, and even internationally. You truly are showing mercy to rescue bothers and sisters trapped in sin through the grace and love of Jesus Christ.
